Mosaic Never Stop Learning

24th June 2024
To deliver the award-winning standard of hairdressing that we do, we continuously train and develop our team at Mosaic.

This looks like:

Regular team building days

Regular training days both in-salon and with our linked companies, Davines and Wella

Individual personal training plans for stylists on every level, from apprentices to the most experienced stylists

Embracing our stylists own eagerness to learn, by supporting them on attending additional classes or training days based on their personal career goals.

And we get around a bit! So far this year we’ve already been to London, Bath and York for a variety of training initiatives.

 _______

Two of the most recent courses were attended by Sally and Emily, who have shared with us some insights from their days below:

Sally

I went to the Wella studio in London for their ‘Alumni Day’, which focused on current hair trends, colour blocking, and some new colour shades that are being launched.

What was your favourite part of the day?

My favourite part of the day was seeing the before and after models with the new trends.

What was a key thing you learnt?

To be a little more big and brave with my application for the new trends! The results were so striking and really inspired me.

Emily

I attended Emily Mander’s Look and Learn Lived-in Colour course. This was showcasing balayage, foilyage, root melt and glossing techniques.

What was your favourite part of the day?

My favourite part of the day was seeing the transformation and understanding how to achieve the ‘lived in’ look.

What was a key thing you learnt?

I learnt about using warmer colours to achieve a better, long lasting result.

Over the years we’ve made it our mission to create a salon that delivers the highest quality of hairdressing in a buzzing yet relaxing atmosphere, one where creativity flows as freely as the conversations. Our constant growth and learning is a massive part of this - you’re not just getting a haircut, you’re getting the result of years of dedication and passion!
